Assault Amplified by Anthony James

Cal Kader is not having a good time.

His knowledge of the universe has been turned upside down and the whole of humanity has been frozen into immovable statues. Only a bunch of recently escaped alien gods seems to have any idea how to fix things.

And these gods want favors before they'll talk.

Having rescued one god from the mysterious Watchers, Kader and his companions are sent to help a second. Another god, another planet under attack - this time by a huge fleet of warships.

Answers lie on the surface, along with a powerful artifact that promises a solution. Unfortunately, the artifact is in several parts, none of which will be easy to obtain since the Watchers are also looking for them.

Even worse - the final piece is hidden in a place from which Kader has no hope of recovering it, unless he can pull something really special out of the bag.

Assault Amplified is a high action, fun sci-fi adventure, with more than its fair share of aliens, space battles, ground battles and special abilities. It continues the Anomaly series and picks up straight after book 1: Planet Wreckers.
