When I started college, I thought I'd be getting a brand new start. I could finally be Addy Spiro, a normal college girl. I'd stay out of the spotlight and focus on becoming a music teacher.
Boy, was I wrong.
Everyone knows of my parents and my family's connections. Being a daughter of a retired football MVP and of a CEO of a major video game company is more complicated than I thought it would be.
Just to add to my complications, Kevin Sanders, my crush since elementary school, is in the same college. I've tried to forget him but turns out, he's my next-door neighbor for this year.
I wanted a clean slate, just to be another one of the crowd, to be normal for once. It's just not in the cards for me.

Switching from high school to college should've been a smooth transition. I was irresistible to everyone in high school. I was the quarterback, baseball team captain, and homecoming king. Now that I'm in college, I'm a little fish in a big pond. People don't know who I am. My ego is at an all-time low.
I need that ego-boost, something to make me feel like I'm important again.
There's this one girl in high school, Addy Spiro, who used to be obsessed with me. She knew my class schedule, would be at all the games, she would be everywhere I turned.
She's what my ego needs.
I think I'm developing feelings for her, but so is everyone else. I need to show Addy that we belong together. The catch? She kind of hates me. This isn't going to be easy.
