Algebra through Discovery and Experimentation

This book covers the fundamentals of algebra, with an emphasis on discovery and exploration as facilitated by online tools such as spreadsheets, symbolic computation engines and graphing tools. While the author believes it is important for the student to learn the details of algebra, he also believe that the student should be aware of and able to effectively use the wealth of online (and mostly free) resources that can help in solving algebra problems.
The audience includes those learning algebra for the first time as well as folks looking to refresh their knowledge of algebra. Very little is assumed in terms of prerequisites.
