Description:
It is the near future, and the Earth is cold and dead.
The Sky Engine devours the upper atmosphere, cursing the world to suffer an endless winter. Ravenous and mindless monsters, the afflicted hunt the scraps of humanity who remain. Nearly everyone is dead.
Samuel is alive. Survival matters little to him. All he wants is to restore the Earth, to regrow its forests. To cure the afflicted. Yet such a goal is impossible, for every day it grows colder, and eventually, when there is nothing left for the Sky Engine to consume, when the atmosphere is stripped bare, the Sky Engine will fall, and the Earth will be destroyed. Samuel is running out of time. All he has left is hope, and each day it dwindles.
When there is nothing left for you or for the dreams you hold, can there even be such a thing as hope?
