How did I end up playing fake fiancée to a runaway criminal?
Well, let me start on the day of my wedding.

I was supposed to get married today-but that's a whole 'nother story.
The part that matters is that I took the car and ran, still in my wedding dress.
I promptly crash said car into a bridge, and when I get out to check the damage.
I trip and fall right into the river below.

That should've been it for little old me.
Goodnight. Close the curtains. Roll the credits.
Drowned by my own wedding dress-how morbidly appropriate.

But then someone saves me.
Not just any someone, but the most gorgeous someone I've ever seen.

As it turns out, though, my someone isn't just a random Good Samaritan.
He's a fugitive on the run.
And he wants me to be his alibi.

That's how I wind up lying to the cops, posing as newlyweds-Mr. and Mrs. Someone, on our way to happily-ever-after.
That's how I wind up spending the night in the woods with an escaped convict.

And then, in the morning.
He's gone.
