Each of the Guardians has a unique set of skills, all of which will be needed to defeat the Mucklots, and face the challenges of growing up. Jimmy can talk to animals and the spirits that haunt the town, and Buddy can understand English. This is an exciting adventure that will appeal to all ages, filled with magic and fantasy that draws the reader into the story and suspends disbelief until the last Mucklot is defeated.
